Tioman Island (locally known as Gunung Daik Bercabang Tiga) is a small island located 32 km off the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia in the state of Pahang Darul Makmur, and is some 39 km long and 12 km wide. The densely forested island is sparsely inhabited, and is surrounded by numerous coral reefs, making it a popular scuba diving sport.

Tioman Rock Beach Resort, found along the popular Kampong Genting, incorporate simple and kampong style accommodations with minor modern facilities. Guest can pick from 40 sea-view rooms. Each has a balcony that offers extensive scenery of the South China Sea. The surrounding waters of Tioman Island are ideal for snorkeling and scuba-diving. Its crystalline waters offer excellent visibility and sights of coral reefs abound with vibrant underwater life. You need not go far for some snorkeling as just in front of the resort will be your introduction ground on Tioman underwater wildlife.
